Cody Dear & Friends is an instrumental quintet featuring original music influenced by a cross-genre of
Jazz, R&B, Soul and Funk. They also play familiar covers with their own special twists. The band is made
up of Cody Dear (saxophones, piano, composer), Donnie Laudicina (guitar), Cory Ng (bass), Cole Riddle (keys) and Ichi Tanabe (drums). Since the band’s debut in late 2017, they have performed multiple times at venues including The Peppermint Club, The Mint, Bar Fedora DTLA, Upstairs at Vitello’s Supper Club, Saint Rocke, Hey Hey Cafe. Milk Tavern and Li Orient.
